This page is about Final Fantasy VII
NOT Final Fight; not Fatal Fury; not The Fast & The Furious.
Final Fantasy VII has proved so popular that there have been a number of virtual artworks made based at least in part on the original.
- Final Fantasy VII (Original) - availability:
- PlayStation 4 (PlayStation Store; also available on PS5 PS Store)
- Xbox One (download)
- Nintendo Switch (download)
- PC (Steam download and on CD, but the CD will not work on newer versions of Windows)
- iOS (App Store)
- Android (Play Store)
- PlayStation 1 (on CD, which will work on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 1).
Unfortunately, the original game has been discontinued from the PS Store for PlayStation Portable, as well as the entire PS Store being discontinued on this console - you can still buy it on the PS Store for PS3 and PS Vita. The downloadable version for PS4, Xbox and Switch is based on the PC version, with more save slots and slightly sharper graphics than the PlayStation 1 original. The PS3 and PS Vita downloads are the same as the PS1 version.
- Crisis Core - PSP
- Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion - PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on PC
- Before Crisis - mobile phone game (Japan only, availability unclear)
- Dirge of Cerberus - PS2
- Final Fantasy VII Remake - PS4 (PS Store & Blu-ray), PS5
- Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade - PS5, PC
- Final Fantasy VII - Ever Crisis (iOS & Android)
- Final Fantasy: Advent Children
- Blu-ray - PlayStation 5 Standard Edition; PlayStation 4; PlayStation 3; as well as any conventional Blu-ray player
- DVD - PlayStation 5 Standard Edition; PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2; as well as any conventional DVD player)
- First Soldier (iOS & Android - DISCONTINUED)
Final Fantasy VII characters also appear in the Dissidia games (PS4, PS Vita and PSP), Kingdom Hearts games (PS5, PS4, PS3 & PS2), Ehrgeiz (PS1) and the original Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1).
